Greetings Online Filmmaking Bootcamp participants and parents!
We are incredibly excited to host such a talented group of young voices in Bloomington this summer and provide a wonderful experience to help you further your passion and create a tight-knit network of friendships as you explore filmmaking.
To make the most of your week, we stress that you must read this page thoroughly.
Zoom Details
Joining the room
You can join the Zoom room daily by going to the following link:
https://iu.zoom.us/j/84762957233
Meeting ID: 847 6295 7233
The session runs from 10am-4pm EST daily. We suggest showing up a bit early on the first day to make sure you have no connection issues. You should not need a password.
Please ensure that your webcam/microphone is working so that we can see/hear you! Plan on having your webcam turned on throughout the week!
Screenwriting Software
Writer Solo--We will be using the free, web-based software, Writer Solo. It can be found at this site (https://writersolo.com/) and requires no download. It will work on a PC or Mac. We don't recommend a tablet, as the typing speed would be a lot slower, but if you have a keyboard hooked up to it that could work.
Session Resources/Student Work--please use this link to find our resources/post your student work/view zoom recordings.
We will add additional details to this page as we get a bit closer to the program!
CONTACT
Nora Collins
If you have any technical issues when attempting to sign on in the morning, please first try reaching Nora Collins first, then if needed you can call Andrew.
Lastly, as a reminder, we will be taking a break each day for lunch. Campers may leave the Zoom room to go eat or they may also stay and socialize with the campers and counselors.
We are tremendously excited to meet all of you and share a great artistic experience. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions. We can't wait to see what you create! We will see you all on June 22nd at 10am EST!
